| 5 Oct 2008: WE WON! The Consumer Republic won the global finals of the 'Fortune' Battle of the Corporate Bands at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio, USA last night (October 4).
Thanks to everyone at the Rock Hall, especially Steve, Lisa and Rob; thanks also to 4 Inch Studs, D7, Enerock, High Definition, Looming LARGER, Second Shift and Strat 5. All great people and all fine bands. It was great hanging out with you guys. We had a blast! Thanks to everyone who came to see us! And thanks also to Veronica, Belinda and everyone at the Hyatt, who looked after us so well :) And big thanks to Adil and Yvan, who made this all possible.
